What would a useful small test look like?

Turn one assumption into something you can examine before committing more.

Which belief is carrying the decision?

Complete this sentence: I am considering this step because I believe ____. Choose one assumption that matters and that you can realistically examine.

What is the smallest useful action?

Choose an action that creates evidence. A conversation, prototype, trial task or limited experiment may help. Merely reading more can leave the central assumption untouched.

What will you record?

Write the action, owner, date and observation before you start. Distinguish what happened from what you hoped it meant.

What happens if the test fails?

Record what did not hold up. Decide whether to stop, adjust or investigate further. A failed test can still improve the decision by exposing a weak assumption.

What strategy do you want to build?

Use the Sankalpa browser app to build your strategy and action plan, test an assumption and put the plan into practice over 90 days, with two scheduled personal reviews by Venkat Murthy.
